On-Site Welding and Cutting
We bring a complete welding and burning setup to your location. Work is planned around live operations and completed with the right controls for hot works and access.
- Welding processes: MIG, TIG, MMA (ARC)
- Cutting processes: oxy-fuel burning, plasma cutting
- Metals: mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium
- Typical tasks: crack repair, reinforcement plates, brackets, gussets, splice plates, handrail and guardrail repairs, stair and platform modifications, RSJ connections, remedial works
Mobile Setup for Remote Sites
Our vehicles carry welding plant, a mobile generator and everything needed to work at farms, construction sites, warehouses and remote locations. We arrive prepared with access equipment, consumables, shielding and fire controls. The objective is simple: set up cleanly, complete the scope to a high standard, and hand back a tidy, compliant site.
Farm and Construction Machinery Repairs
We repair plant and machinery in situ to reduce disruption and transport costs. Typical repairs include buckets, cutting edges, cracks on arms and frames, guard reinstatement, wear plates and bracket fabrication. For farm machinery, we address cracked welds, attachment points, rails and structural elements, coordinating with on-site teams to maintain safe operations.
Emergency Welding Service and Call-Outs
We provide an emergency welding service and welding call-out for vandalism repairs, impact damage, broken welds and urgent safety defects on barriers, handrails, stairs, doors and gates. We assess, make safe and complete permanent or interim repairs appropriate to the asset and environment.
Mobile Burning and Thermal Cutting
Mobile burning supports removal, alteration and controlled demolition of steelwork. Oxy-fuel cutting tackles heavy sections. Plasma cutting delivers precision on plate and thinner materials. Typical uses include trimming connection plates, removing damaged members, creating access openings and preparing steel for replacement or reinforcement.
A recent project involved the removal of sheet piles down to ground level. See the project for photos and details.
Compliance, Safety and Documentation
All work follows site safety standards with clear documentation and controls. We prepare method statements and risk assessments, manage hot works permits where required and follow isolation and fire watch procedures. On completion, we provide a concise summary of works and maintenance guidance relevant to the repair or modification.
Our Accreditations
We operate with industry-recognised credentials that support welding quality and site safety:
- CSWIP welding certification
- CSCS Construction Skills Certification Scheme
- TWI affiliation
- Network Rail Sentinel
These accreditations underpin our approach to competency, safe systems of work and sector-specific requirements. They inform how we plan, execute and document every job.
Where Mobile Welding Adds Value
- Assets that cannot leave site due to size, access or safety
- Reactive works to remove hazards and restore safe access
- Permit-controlled environments for cutting and welding
- Equipment subject to load and vibration needing durable repairs
- Locations without power requiring generator-backed welding
A recent project involved welding in support plates for the M27 Smart Motorway Scheme. See the project for photos and details.

Equipment and Capabilities
- Mobile generator, welding plant and compressors
- MIG, TIG and MMA (ARC) welding equipment
- Oxy-fuel burning and plasma cutting equipment
- Clamps, jigs, consumables and materials for on-site fabrication
- PPE, shields and fire controls for safe operation
- Measuring and inspection tools for accurate fit and finish
Quality and Aftercare
Durable repairs start with sound preparation and the right process. We focus on joint preparation, fit-up, heat input and compatible filler selection. For exposed steel, we can prime or specify appropriate protection and provide maintenance advice to extend service life. If a staged approach is required, we make the area safe and return with pre-fabricated components to complete the final installation.
